The Herding Calls of Ballymena

In the mountains of Ballymenna, I met a farmer while he called out to his sheep. The melody of his chant became ancient and awakened a deep sense of connection within me. His voice echoed and vibrated against the mountains, rumbling from inside. He turned to me and explained how his calls were passed down from generations before him. he showed me the land he was born on and the land he will die on. These mountains, filled with his sheep, were not just where he kept his livestock, but where he kept his heart.
